Public health policy, diplomacy and communication

The Public Health Policy, Diplomacy and Communication (PDC) Cluster is responsible for coordinating and managing public health policy, diplomacy, and communication initiatives. Its core objective is to foster and maintain strategic relationships with national and international organizations, government departments, academic and research institutions, and the Ministry of Health. Guided by a ‘One Health’ approach, the cluster aims to strengthen national public health security through informed and inclusive policy engagement and communication.

• Strategic Communication and Engagement : acilitate strategic communication and stakeholder engagement for policy, programmatic initiatives, and public outreach to ensure that ZNPHI stakeholders are adequately informed on matters of public health importance.
• Development of Communication Strategies : Develop and serve as the link for both internal and external communication strategies that align with the Institute’s mission and public health priorities.
• Policy and Public Information Management : Manage and coordinate communication related to policy, programs, and public health messaging. Oversee the development, approval, and dissemination of accurate and timely information on public health issues.
• Partnership Coordination : Coordinate the establishment, strengthening, and engagement of partnerships with key stakeholders to support public health objectives.
• Resource Mobilization : Facilitate and support efforts aimed at mobilizing financial and technical resources to enhance the Institute’s capacity to deliver on its mandate.
• Brand Management : Coordinate and implement ZNPHI’s brand management strategy to maintain a consistent, professional, and recognizable public image.
